Best Years EP is OUT NOW!

After three whole years of writing, creating, recording, making home made music videos, and releasing singles, the last two songs of the Best Years EP are out TODAY!

I wish I could say the process of releasing music was only the fun of making it, but many tears have been shed, plans altered, and prayers prayed. I’m learning more and more that the “best years” aren’t really about what the season you’re in looks like, but the attitude with which you live through it.

So, THANK YOU to everyone who has supported the singles I’ve released off of this EP so far. Mountain Honey, Never Drank A Beer, Clueless, and Best Years were so fun to share one at a time with you guys to truly get the goodie out of them. These last two songs are just as special to me.

Honey, You’re The Reason I wrote in the midst of feeling extreme loneliness and daydreaming at work about finding someone that will one day make it all make sense. The heartbreak, the time it took, and the patience it takes to wait for a love that gives you a dream worth chasing and a fear worth facing.

Go On and Live is the EP’s finale so to speak. I wanted this project to end on a high note. One that’s full of hope and encompasses how hard life can be, but also how extremely wonderful and beautiful. The strings on this track bring a cinematic ending and I’m so in love with how it turned out.

Three years in the making and these songs are officially yours. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did writing and recording them.
